How old is a Airex-Eldorado model 1 (it's a fishing reel)?

Airex started making reels in the 40's. They were associated with Lionel Train for a time. I've linked to an ad showing the Eldorado to have been advertised in 1958. I owned some Airex reels. They were pretty good for their time.
