what Ib. test line and brand should i use for croppie fishing?
i love croppie fishing, but i keep on switching lines to find the right one. i have a qauntum 1 ball bearing reel and a 6 foot skinny rod. i want the best line should i use to cast long distances?
Look for a line with a low diameter with the same breaking strain. Braid is a new type of fishing line that is about 1/4 the size of normal nylon or copolymer however it is expensive.
If it is too expensive then I would pick a copolymer over a nylon line as it will be lower diameter for the same strain and cast further.

Always use a stronger line than the fish you expect to catch so it does not break but do not go so big as to scare the fish!
