found old fishing rod + reel. no idea what it is?
i was looking through my crawlspace and found an old fishing rod and reel. There were no boxes or manuals so I assume that it was the previous owner's rod. anyways, they look old and in pretty good shape but i have no idea how old they are and if they are worth anything.
The Reel: it is mostly metal with green knobs and it says that it was made by Pflueger Akron no. 1893 made in U.S.A.
The Rod: Its mostly yellow with some orange and has a black plastic grip all made by Eagle claw. it also says Eagle Claw "Denco Super II" no. DSCE127 6ft (183cm) Walleye Rod Wright & Mcgill Co. Denver CO 80216 USA
They are worth exactly what someone will pay for it. "Whatever the market will bear" I would clean it up and try using it or hang it one the wall in a den over an old piece of netting with some old lures hanging around it.
