Ugly Stik Bigwater Rod?

Hello,
I am going to the beach this sunday in Maryland and I was wonder whether I should get the Ugly Stik Bigwater spinning 7' 15-30 lbs or the 20-40 lbs rod. The reason I'm asking is that I also like to fish for catfish on the Potomac and want the rod to be sensitive enough to feel small bites. Which should I get? Also the reel will be an Diawa Emcast Reel and will be fishing for blues and stripers. If you could help I would be very grateful.

I would honestly go with a bit longer pole for both. I think that a 7' foot rod is small at best for catfishing and especially long cast into surf. I would go with a 9-10' rod with a reel that feels comfortable to you.
