what to use for stripped fishing in provincetown MA?

I was told that jigging was done alot down there but i do not have wire line on my rods. i have a penn 560 fishing reel and a penn slammer boat rod attached to it. i just want to no if there is any way i could use that equipment when jigging. also i would like to know if i could use something else with that setup that will work for stripped bass.
